An excellent Dutch public speaker may struggle to get his or her point point across to an English audience. The best public speakers leave nothing to chance and can make it sound as if what they say really matters. Being confident about the content of your presentation and voice control (stress, pausing, intonation, volume and silence) are crucial to an excellent presentation. This course deals with the kind of language and the range of techniques needed for effective public speaking.
